In this project, we are going to be exploring, cyanotypes, wet plate collodian prints, and gum bichromates. Cyanotypes are photographic blue prints. To create them, we will be using brushes to create white boarders and then tinting them blue. Gum bichromates are "a 19th-century photographic printing process based on the light sensitivity of dichromates."We will be using brushes to create white boarders and then using three colors on top to make a very colorful and dated picture. A wet plate collodian involves an early photographic technique invented by Englishman Frederick Scott Archer in 1851 that uses a soluble iodide in a solution of collodion to coat a glass plate. It makes images look very dated and metallic.
