In this diptych, I used depth of field and contrast in color. The flower has a very shallow depth of field, and the painting has a deep depth of field. The orange of the flower and the many contrasting colors in the painting create a strong contrast of colors. I used these two pictures because I liked how they had different types of flowers in each image, and how the contrast in colors worked together.
In this diptych, I used motion photos. In the top picture, I took a picture of someone running, and for the bottom picture I shook my own camera and took a picture of the light reflecting on the floor. I paired these two photos because I think the color scheme works very well together.
In this triptych, I used multiple photos that I took of berries and leaves that were growing on a bridge. The photo of the berries and the left image of the leaves both have a shallow depth of field while the center image has a deeper depth of field. I used these three images because I loved the contrast in color and contrast in texture.
In this triptych, I focused on a green color scheme with strong contrast in texture. I looked at different green plants with different textures that all had different shades of green. I put these three together because I loved the strong contrast in texture of the three images.
Contrast in Texture
This photo of bricks uses contrast in texture. I loved the messy texture of the moss growing onto the bricks. The different textures of each brick creates a very interesting image.
Contrast in Color
This photo of a painting of a tree and a bird shows contrast in color. I love the pink and blue color scheme, as well as the white and brown branches.
Contrast in Scale and Asymmetry
In this photo I found a very small object in a larger background to create a large contrast in scale. I edited the small pipe on the wall to make it the first place that viewers look. I also used asymmetry to make this picture by having the pipe on one side as opposed to in the middle.
