Project 1- Framing and Composition

The Framing and Composition project is about the different techniques that photographers often use when creating work. These techniques make photos more visually appealing, and also give photographers ideas for shooting pictures. We looked at eight of these techniques and shot images that matched the criteria for each one. These eight techniques were rule of thirds, frame within a frame, closeup, birds eye, bugs eye, leading lines, diagonals, and filling the frame. I shot my photos by climbing to different levels, positioning myself in different angles, and traveling to multiple locations in order to take pictures from different perspectives. I edited my photos in a variety of ways. I tried out different types of edits to experiment with what my images could look like. I often used different types of black and whites, and played with the saturation of different colors in the images. I had a lot of fun shooting and editing my images, and I hope you like my results!
